LEARN TO DIVE WITH THE DIVING DEN!!
We teach on weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Signing up ahead of time and preparation for class prior to the weekend are required. Training dives will be at France Park on two days. A referral can be issued to be certified on a trip to warmer water. PLEASE CALL IF THERE IS INTEREST IN A BEGINNING CLASS.

WATER CONDITIONS:
As of November 4, water temp was 55º at the surface and 55º at the bottom with 25 ft. of visibility. The paddlefish are moving slow and some bass and blue gill are starting to move about.

PARKING & SETTING UP
Divers are asked to not leave dive gear at the pavilion because it takes space from picnickers who want to eat at the tables. Divers are asked to set up gear in front of the air station where there are lots of tables. Another alternative is to set up on the beach (when the water goes down) below the wall in front of the air station. The chain is up to prevent driving down to drop off gear, so divers are welcome to borrow our cart to get gear to the beach from the parking lot.

FRANCE PARK NO FISHING RULES
Fishermen are not to fish at the swimming lake from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. The ban should give divers a feeling of being safe while diving, and give us a chance to clean up the fishing line and hooks from the bottom.
KOKOMO FATHOM MASTERS MEETING ON HOLD
The membership of the Kokomo Fathom Masters has decided to put monthly meetings on hold until a permanent meeting place is found. However, there are events planned and we will try to announce those on this web site and also on emails to the membership. The annual Halloween party and night dive is October 23. A poker run and pumpkin carving is planned. Divers should bring their own pumpkin. Prizes will be given by the Kokomo Fathom Masters and Diving Den.
